News Writing Samples

During my time as a radio news reporter, I’ve written many news stories; some I’m proud of, others I wrote because I needed to. No matter how much information I had to work with, no matter how much time it took to write, and no matter how many paragraphs it has, these select stories are the ones that, when I took the time to craft them, turned out exactly as I envisioned.

So whether it was because of the amount of effort I put into writing it, or because I was able to have fun with it and throw in Mean Girls quotes and references to Bill Nye the Science Guy, these pieces are here because I’m proud of them.

Enjoy!
